A professional troublemaker, self-described. Anat Hoffman has spent 25 years telling religious authorities, essentially, “Stop being so damn sexist.” She was arrested for praying at the Western Wall two years ago, mainly because she’s not a man. Tonight she’s the headline speaker at the Jewish Federation’s Israel 2014 event.

Anat Hoffman, founder of Women of the Wall, in studio, pushing buttons and envelopes and rabbis to madness.

I’m not a wing guy. But there is a fanatic, cult-like love of chicken wings out there, and so a filmmaker set out to find America’s best wing. Happily, it’s heavily local, with Buffalo stealing the spotlight. The participants are borderline insane. I like to be able to taste my food, but these guys don’t mind a little napalm on their dinner. To each their own. The film is called The Great Chicken Wing Hunt and shows at The Little this weekend.

Guests:

Ben Beavers, Wing Eater

Matt Reynolds, Director

Peter Wayner, Little Theatre Publicist
