Burning Down The House

The Meters meet Fela? Ethiopian soul? Staten Island funk? Words fall short when you try to describe The Budos Band, and as great as they sound on record, it's the kind of stuff that begs to be heard live. We'll all have that chance on Saturday at the Big Tent. Hopefully Rochester will fare better than the town in this video.

Interesting to note: the bari sax player in the band, Jared Tankel , is a graduate of Brighton High School!
