Tell us about a Public Radio Music moment that is special to you

Listener and volunteer Ann Best recording her Public Radio Music Month moment.

Public radio provides a broad spectrum of musical choices.  Here in Rochester, NY, WXXI public radio provides 24-hour classical music on WXXI-FM 91.5 and a mix of news and Triple-A music on WRUR-FM 88.5.

Music on public radio connects you with local, regional and national artists and concerts from around the world.  You hear interviews with and performances by major musicians who are traveling to or through Rochester.  Only public radio will provide you with those up-close-and-personal music moments.

During April 2013, WXXI is joining with public radio stations across the country to celebrate Public Radio Music Month, and we'd like to hear your story of the musical memory that public radio has created for you.

Please share your story in the comment section below of the piece that impacted your life, or that moment from an interview with a musician you'll never forget.  We'll share some of your stories on air and on our website.

We can't wait to hear your story as together we celebrate Public Radio Music Month.
