Brenda describes it as a sandbox. A sandbox is a much more inviting notion than a blank page. Hopefully you can jump in and play too when you have the time.

When first considering the best music of this year, I posed the question to the facebook community. After all the music I had heard over the year, it was surprising how much of it I hadnâ€™t, and how much of that shows up as favorites to those who have heard it.
The Rochester Oratorio Society announced a commission this week in celebration of the upcoming 150th anniversary of the Emancipation Proclamation and other milestones. The ROS will commission composer Glenn McClure to write a piece including texts, instruments and musical resources from Ghana, West Africa, and Western New York.
