Classical 91.5 Programs

| Airs: Sundays, 7 pm - 8 pm (Nationally Syndicated show) A weekly program of choral and organ music now being aired by more than 100 radio stations in 35 states across the United States. With Heart and Voice covers a wide spectrum of Western sacred music, with brief organ selections offered between choral works. |
| Airs: Saturdays, 10 am - 11 am Fascinatin' Rhythm explores the history and themes of American popular music from Stephen Foster to Stephen Sondheim. These weekly "radio essays," illustrated by recordings, won the 1994 George Foster Peabody Award for letting "our treasury of popular tunes speak (and sing) for itself with sparkling commentary tracing the contributions of the composers and performers to American society." | Rochester Philharmonic Broadcasts WXXI producer Brenda Tremblay frames the orchestra’s broadcast concerts in the same spirit, offering you a breezy, informal approach to the RPO's performances of classical and contemporary composers. Visit the RPO Broadcasts website |
Hochstein School of Music
| Live from Hochstein is the longest running live broadcast concert series in Western New York. Each week performances by the finest artists from the Rochester area’s musical community. The programs range from soloists and chamber ensembles to large orchestras and choirs. The broadcasts are presented as free "brown bag" concerts, where people can spend their lunch hour enjoying classical music performed by local artists. Airs: Wed. 12:10 pm during the spring & fall seasons. See website for schedules as available. |
