Eyes on Success hosts Pete and Nancy introduce us to author Anastasia Charalambakos, blind from birth due to retinopathy of prematurity. Born in NYC to Greek immigrant parents and later moving to Florida, Anastasia graduated from the University of South Florida, Tampa, with her Master of Arts in applied linguistics. Anastasia Charalambakos has been blind since birth and has led an unusual life, which she describes in her recently published memoir “From Darkness to Triumph: Creating Success Amidst Barriers”. Hosts Peter Torpey and Nancy Goodman Torpey speak with her about the content of the book as well as the mechanics of creating and publishing it.
