2/5 From the Opelika Center for the Performing Arts in Opelika, AL, we’ll hear a 13-year-old violinist play Beethoven and an 18-year-old guitarist play Paganini. Also, a young pianist shares the story of how music has brought him close to his little brother.
2/12 From Kalamazoo, MI, we hear Jackie Tso, a 15-year-old violinist perform Polonaise Brillante by Henryk Wieniawski, a 14-year-old cellist Johannes Gray perform a movement from Sonata for Cello and Piano No.3 by Ludwig van Beethoven, and Ben Darneille, a 17-year-old tubaist perform Hornpipe and Bourrée from Suite for Tuba by Gordon Jacob
2/19 This week, From the Top's highlights show centers around "The Big Story," featuring not only superb musical performances by young people, but stories from each of these kids that are unusually compelling.
2/26 From our home in Boston, MA, we’ll hear 18-year-old violinist Carson Marshall, 16-year-old violist Alexia DelGiudice, 16-year-old flutist Anthony Trionfo and 15-year-old pianist Angie Zhang.
