Martin and Louisa's engagement is coupled with an outbreak of aspergillosis.

Portwenn is buzzing with the news of the engagement of Dr Martin Ellingham and Headmistress Louisa Glasson. Mushrooms are the cause of an outbreak of aspergillosis in the village. Bert Large, postman Dave and restaurant chef Mick Mabley are among the victims. Bert Large’s ill health is not his only problem. His restaurant is in financial trouble. Son Al decides it is time to take action to save the business.

Doc Martin "Nowt So Queer" airs Thursday, June 17 at 10 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11).

Martin Clunes returns for the third season of DOC MARTIN as the brash doctor Martin Ellingham, whose blunt opinions and tactless manner causes mayhem in a small Cornish community. The series follows the celebrated London surgeon, Ellingham, whose truculence and tactless manner causes mayhem in a small Cornish community. After retraining as a general practitioner, he gets a job in the beautiful but sleepy village of Portwenn replacing their deceased local doctor. But his abrasive personality doesn’t exactly mesh with the pace of life in Cornwall.
