The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival on Classical 91.5

Wed, 06/23/2010 - 8:00pm - 9:00pm

Orion String Quartet

The Orion String Quartet performs on this week's radio broadcast of the festival.

One of the world's leading performing arts festivals, The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival is known for its enduring commitment to tradition, artistic excellence, innovation, and vision.  Our weekly radio series reflects the Festival's varied repertoire by presenting superbly recorded concerts and recitals by some of today's greatest musical artists. With two to four performances per program, there's lots of great music.  In addition to the great classics of the chamber music repertoire, the series will also offer someoutstanding, though lesser known works.

Each concert was recorded by Grammy award-winning engineer, Matt Snyder.  The Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival Artistic Director, Marc Neikrug, and WFMT program host, Kerry Frumkin, co-host this dynamic series, which also incorporates remarks by many of the musicians.

Tune in to Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1 on Wednesday, June 23 at 8 p.m. when the Santa Fe Chamber Music Festival presents:
