Curious George GREASE MONKEYS IN SPACE/PINATA VISION
Monday, January 7, 2013 at 2:30 a.m. on WXXI-TV, and repeats Wednesay, January 9 at 7 p.m. on WXXI Create

Grease Monkeys in Space - George only has a few minutes to replace the telescope batteries in space, will George save the day, or will it turn into a space "Whoops".

Pinata Vision - When George attends Betsy's birthday party he is ready for a day of fun with friends. Steve and Betsy blindfold George and give him the first shot at breaking open the birthday pinata - but when George swings the bat without any sense of where he's aiming, he makes a grand mess instead. To help George improve his game, Steve blindfolds George and sets him off to try and find Charkie - and George navigates his way around the city by using only his hands, ears and sense of touch. His adventure leads him to some familiar places and ultimately back to the sweet pinata prize! 

 

Arthur WHEN CARL MET GEORGE/D.W. SWIMS WITH THE FISHES

When Carl Met George – George is excited about spending time with his new friend, Carl, who seems to know all kind of cool facts about trains and about... well lots of things! Then George learns that Carl has Asperger's Syndrome - a form of autism that makes Carl see the world differently than most people. Can George and Carl remain good friends - and perhaps even learn from each other? 

D.W. Swims with the Fishes – D.W. and James enter the pre-school swim meet and recruit their big siblings to coach them. All goes swimmingly until Arthur and Molly start taking their jobs a little too seriously. Who's this race about, anyway?

 

Barney & Friends THINGS I CAN DO AND DIFFERENCES

Things I can do -
Baby Bop isnt satisified with the things she can do, untill she realizes she has abilities to do other things.

Differences -  When a wheelchair-bound child is unintentionally neglected by his friends, Barney steps in to help. He gently reminds the others to include the child by showing them that even Barney feels excluded sometimes. It isn't always easy being a big, purple dinosaur. In the end, everyone is included for a day of fun!

Tie-Dye Clifford -
Clifford accidentally gives himself a bath with Tie-dye and tries to hide the truth from Emily.

Stage Struck - Mary has always been afraid to perfrom in front of an audience. But with the help and support from her friend Emily, Mary is able to overcome her stage fight.  



Cat in the Hat Knows A Lot About That! YOU SHOULD BE DANCING/BATTY FOR BATS
Wednesday, January 9 at 3pm on WXXI-TV

You Should Be Dancing - Nick and Sally are planning to put on a show for their moms, but they can't finish their dance without falling down! The Cat in the Hat takes them to meet one of the best dancers in the world, Tango a bird of paradise! With a few costume changes and a little practice, Nick and Sally are finally able to show their moms their new dance!

Batty for Bats - Sally and Nick are playing a game of blindfolded freeze tag but they can't seem to find each other! Luckily the Cat has a friend who is always able to find his way in the dark. He takes them to meet Zapita, a bat who teaches the kids about echolocation. Now that Nick and Sally know how to listen to find their way, freeze tag has become a lot more fun!

 

Arthur PRUNELLA SEES THE LIGHT/RETURN OF THE SNOWBALL
Thursday, January 10 at 7 a.m. on WXXI-TV

Prunella Sees the Light- To make everything perfect for her sleepover with Marina, Prunella happily styles her room to resemble a "Henry Skreever" book.  But then she panics - since Marina is blind, will decorations she can't even see offend her... or worse, make her trip?  Or will Prunella discover that her worries about protecting Marina - and their friendship - are more about Prunella's own perceptions rather than Marina's actual capabilities? 

Return of the Snowball - D.W's snowball reapears, but she must figure out how to keep it away from the thieves in case they  strike again.

 

Caillou  ALL WET!
Friday, January 10 at 1 p.m. on WXXI-TV
Caillou gets an introduction to what it means to be handicapped, when, at the pool, he meets Tammy, a girl a few years older, who happens to be in a wheelchair. It's raining outside but there is no stopping Caillou! Since no one wants to join him, he goes outside to play in his new froggie boots, his rain coat and hat. He has a great time walking through water, playing in the wet sand box, and making mud soup.

Tuesday, January 11 at 1 p.m. on WXXI-TV
When Mom is busy on the phone all morning and doesn't have time for Caillou he feels very left out of things. He plays with his toy phone and then talks to Grandma on the real phone. He likes talking on the phone--it makes him feel very grown up. Caillou learns there are many different ways to communicate. He makes friends with Robbie, a deaf boy he meets in the park, and learns how to communicate using sign language. After getting caught in the rain, Caillou looses his voice, but manages to find other ways to communicate until his voice comes back.
