And who are trying to put their lives back together at home. How do they heal from the trauma of war, psychologically and spiritually? Listen: The Power of Non-Violence: Healing the Trauma

Following more than a decade of war, up to 400,000 returning soldiers bring with them invisible wounds. In addition, to PTSD, many have suffered "moral injury" when a soldier witnesses — or participates in — a violation of conscience.

How do they process these events? We hear the deeply moving stories of numerous veterans who served in Iraq, Afghanistan and Vietnam. And who are trying to put their lives back together at home. How do they heal from the trauma of war, psychologically and spiritually? And we listen to VA chaplains and other counselors describe the challenges.

Listener Advisory: This program contains no profanity. However, brief moments contain graphic descriptions of war, which is stated in a Listener Advisory heard in the program.
