More about our local favorites:
Machine Gun English is a three-piece independent Rock & Roll band from Rochester, New York.  Brothers Ryan & Brendan Warren along with drummer Alex Durr have played various locations around Western New York.

The Mighty High & Dry pumps out big-hearted American Rock ‘n ‘ Soul, employing a healer’s touch, a bartender’s wit and a lover’s kiss to the beat of the times. Since 2011, singer Alan Murphy has been channeling his writing efforts into MHD along with bassist Kyle Vock. With two members relocating in ’16, they’ve added guitarist Eric Katerle and drummer Alex Cote, who both triple their duties by writing and singing with the band.

Kitestring is a versatile acoustic rock band from upstate New York that plays original music with influences ranging from 90's Alternative, Americana, to Blues and Soul. Equally well-suited to provide intimate stripped down rock music or fill a room with danceable tunes and full harmonies, Kitestring has performed at various venues across central New York. The songwriting explores the normal and sometimes mundane aspects of life and relationships and finds magic in the small moments. Click here to watch their Tiny Desk Concert Contest submission.
