WXXI’s PBS KIDS Throwback Trivia Night
WXXI’s PBS KIDS Throwback Trivia Night
Tue, 02/20/2018 - 6:00pm - 8:00pm
Do you know who is faster than a rolling “o”, stronger than a silent “e”, and able to leap capital “T” in a single bound?
When you hear the words Lamb Chop, does a delicious meal come to mind – or an adorable sock puppet? Do you know who Mr. McFeeley is and what he does for a living? If you can answer these questions, and just had fun doing so, then you won’t want to miss WXXI’s PBS KIDS Throwback Trivia Night, a PBS Nerd event on Tuesday, February 20 at Rohrbach Brewing Company (97 Railroad St, Rochester). Doors open at 6pm and trivia begins at 6:30pm.
Test your knowledge, and your memory, of some of PBS’s most memorable children’s shows including The Electric Company, Bill Nye the Science Guy, Wishbone, Reading Rainbow plus classics that are still on the air like Sesame Street, Arthur, and Mister Rogers – during our throwback trivia night! There will be prizes, complimentary eats, vintage swag for purchase, a cash bar, and lots and lots of laughs.
Click here to visit our Facebook event page to let us know you’re interested or attending, and share the event with your friends!
PLEASE NOTE: Even though "PBS KIDS" is in the title of this event -- this is an adult-only event.
Answers to the three questions above: (1) Letter Man from the Electric Company. (2) Adorable puppet Lamb Chop + puppeteer/ventriloquistShari Lewis. (3) Speedy delivery man from Mister Rogers' Neighborhood
