Cutting off President's Speech on 1370

I was very unpleasantly surprised when the President's summary of his letter from Senator Kennedy (and the rest of his speech) was cut short on AM 1370 by advertisements of upcoming shows and then Car Talk. I really wanted to hear the rest of his speech!

I hope next time WXXI will make the decision to air the President's speech in its entirety and to go to the next show "already in progress." That's why I support public radio--to hear the important public issues.

BTW, I enjoy Car Talk, as well, which I listen to almost every Saturday.

Thanks,

Presidential address

It would be really nice if whoever is working at night would have the intelligence to make sure that if the speech runs past the allotted time, it isn't cut off in mid-sentence so that you can broadcast CAR TALK.
VERY annoying!!!!!
And, if that particular problem was caused by a computer, then someone needs to make sure it doesn't happen again.
