PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest

The PBS KIDS GO! Writers Contest is for kids who are in Kindergarten, 1st Grade, 2nd Grade or 3rd Grade. Are you in a K-3 Grade? Great! Here's what you'll need to do to submit your entry. Don't forget to ask for help from an adult here if you need it!

1. Take a peek at the Official Rules and Entry Form (PDF) to be sure you can enter.
2. Print out the official entry form. (It's included with the Rules in step 1)
3. Have your parent or guardian sign the form allowing you to enter.
4. Create your book and send in by Mon. April 5, 2010.

WXXI will select local 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners and award prizes (prizes TBA). Deadline for local entries is April 5, 2010 - local winners will be announced by April 12, 2010. First place local winners will be entered into the national level of the Contest where a renowned panel of judges will identify the national winners. Winners will be announced and national prizes, including laptops, digital cameras and MP3 players will be awarded in summer 2010.
