Upcoming programs you’ll want to add to your must-see list

I hope you had a chance to catch the final episode of Downton Abbey. The finale for the Emmy and Golden Globe award-winning hit, which we have enjoyed for the last six years, aired Sunday, March 6th. If you missed it, you can watch it online at: pbs.org/video.

So, what does PBS have planned for us now? Lots of great programming – including Jackie Robinson, a Ken Burns film that examines the life and times of the baseball and civil rights legend (airing in April); Genius with Stephen Hawking, a series that revisits some of history’s notable scientific breakthroughs (airing late 2016); and Dark Angel, a drama about real-life Victorian serial killer Mary Ann Cotton, starring Downton Abbey’s Joanne Froggatt (airing in June). Stay tuned.
