Elections and Debates Ramping Up

With the Republican and Democratic National Conventions and the Olympics now behind us, the election race takes center stage and WXXI News will be with you the whole way. From local news stories and guests on Connections with Evan Dawson to reports from Karen DeWitt in Albany and national news from NPR and PBS — WXXI has you covered. Our fair, balanced and respectful reporting will help guide the way and provide you the information you need to make an informed choice on Election Day. To that end, WXXI will be hosting a September 7th Voice of the Voter Debate between the two Democrat candidates (Harry Bronson and Rachel Barnhart) for Assembly District 138. More details will be coming, but WXXI is proud to continue being a leader in local public affairs.

And if you haven't done so already, I encourage you to sign up for our free Daily News Update where you'll get updates on what's happening locally, around the state, and beyond. http://interactive.wxxi.org/enews
