Preview Ken Burns' "The Roosevelts" before it premieres this September.

We've been hearing a great deal about Ken Burns' new documentary series on the Roosevelts and we're looking forward to bringing you the seven-part series this September. This is the first time in a major documentary television series that the individual stories of Theodore, Franklin, and Eleanor Roosevelt have been interwoven into a single narrative. The Roosevelts: An Intimate History airs Sunday, September 14 through Saturday, September 20 at 8 p.m. on WXXI-TV.

If you just can't wait for the premiere, you're in luck. On Thursday, August 21 at 6:30 p.m. WXXI is hosting a FREE screening of a special highlight reel of The Roosevelts: An Intimate History at The Little Theatre. It's a 45-minute piece that will give you a taste of what's to come in September. To learn more, click here. We hope to see you there!
