Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy Running for Lt. Governor

NYS Attorney General and gubernatorial candidate Andrew Cuomo has chosen Rochester Mayor Robert Duffy as his running mate in this year's election.

Cuomo and Duffy appeared together in New York City Wednesday morning. Cuomo says Duffy's legacy in Rochester is 100% integrity.

Duffy says he was offered the Lieutenant Governor spot last night. He will not resign as mayor during the campaign.

Local Assemblyman and Monroe County Democratic Chairman Morelle says he knew Duffy was on the short list of choices for Cuomo, but he was still surprised by this morning's announcement.
