Democrat Sandy Frankel Running for County Executive
Democratic Brighton Town Supervisor Sandy Frankel has announced her run for Monroe County Executive against incumbent Republican Maggie Brooks in this November's election.
Frankel made her announcement at Democratic Party headquarters Thursday saying she wants to restore public trust within county government, "I want to work with all our citizens to make our county a shining star once again. We are one. We can make change happen if we stick together and forge a working community."
Frankel has been the town supervisor in Brighton since 1992. She served as vice president of the Brighton Board of Education, and as president of the Monroe County School Boards Association before being elected town supervisor.
