Irene Comes Ashore in NC, NY National Guard Deployed
Hurricane Irene made landfall in North Carolina Saturday morning as Governor Cuomo deployed National Guard troops to New York City in anticipation of the storm's arrival there.
WXXI Capitol Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt reports on Cuomo's meeting with troops as they departed Saturday morning.
