Investigation into Deadly Crane Accident Begins

Investigators want to know what caused a crane to tip over in the Genesee River gorge Tuesday afternoon. The operator of the crane died despite frantic rescue efforts.

The man died shortly after 6:00p.m. Tuesday. He worked for a construction company in Michigan hired by RG&E to work on a hydroelectric facility along the river.
