Evans, Powell, Campos and Adams Win School Board Primary

Voter turnout was light in many districts as Democrats in the City of Rochester chose incumbents Malik Evans, Willa Powell and Melisza Campos and first-time winner Mary Adams to run on the party line in November's general election.

The four top vote getters will have the Democratic line in the general election, virtually guaranteeing each of them a seat on the school board because of the huge Democrat enrollment advantage in the city.

Here are the results with 100% of the precincts reporting:

20.5% Malik Evans

14.0% Willa Powell

13.3% Melisza Campos

13.3% Mary Adams

12.5% Allen Williams

 9.9% Ernest Flagler

 9.2% Howard Eagle

 7.3% Wallace Smith
