Cuomo, Legislative Leaders Still Mulling Options to Close Budget Gaps

WXXI Capitol Bureau Correspondent Karen DeWitt reports Governor Cuomo and state lawmakers are considering a number of options, including a special session, and revamping the state's tax code as a means of generating more money for state coffers.

Karen reports the budget deficit for the current fiscal year had grown to $350 million dollars and next year's budget gap is estimated to be $3.5 billion.
