Here’s ten dollars. Make a musical instrument.
Tune in to Classical 91.5 on Tuesday, November 24 between 6 a.m. and 10 a.m. to hear morning host Brenda Trembaly speak with young aritist and Eastman student John Libertore, who will unveil the homemade instrument he came up with after multiple trips to the hardware store.

Recently, Eastman’s contemporary music group Ossia (oh-SEE-ah) awarded $10 grants to the inventors of homemade instruments. John’s imaginative instrument and others will debut during Ossia’s “found instruments” concert Tuesday night (11/24) at 8:00 p.m. in Kilbourn Hall alongside works by American composers Philip Glass, John Cage, and instrument builder Harry Partch.

Join Brenda Tremblay weekday mornings from 6 to 10 on Classical 91.5.
