Dracula.  Bloodthirsty, lustful and evil incarnate—but above all—a gentleman.  The Count journeys from his gloomy Transylvanian castle to WXXI to co-host the second edition of The Haunting Music of Broadway.

Join host Robert Hammond and his special co-host, Wade McCollum, for this week’s terrifying Stage Notes. McCollum is currently starring in the title role in Geva Theatre’s production of Dracula, a darkly passionate and hauntingly lush adaptation of Bram Stoker’s 1897 novel.

In additionto Dracula, McCollum has been in other antagonistic roles, including the Emcee in Cabaret, Dr. Frankenfurter in The Rocky Horror Show, and Bat Boy in Bat Boy: The Musical.  Among others, he will discuss these roles and the music associated with them.

The Haunting Music of Broadway is sure to prepare you for Halloween with songs from Sweeney Todd, Tommy, Into the Woods, and The Addams Family
