Mon, 03/05/2012 - 1:17pm - Fri, 03/30/2012 - 11:55am

From fact to fiction, the first-ever PBS Online Film Festival features 20 surprising short stories that only public media can tell.  Each Monday for five weeks we will introduce a new category of films to explore.  On April 16th we'll announce the People's Choice Winner, so be sure to vote for your favorite film by clicking on the "like" button after watching the video. Two categories of films tackle youth issues: Watch On-Demand

Growing Pains - Premieres Monday, March 5th
In this compelling collection of 4 shorts, filmmakers tackle coming-of-age stories from
the perspective of teens who are dealing with bullies, navigating their sexual and ethnic
identities, and learning what it means to be a man.

Girl Power - Premieres Monday, March 12th
The women captured in these 4 documentaries have some amazing stories to tell. From
the trials and tribulations of relationships and coming of age to plastic surgery, this
category highlights the bold, fearless and enduring spirit of the female gender.
