George experiences the world through smell, sound, taste and touch as he searches for Charkie blindfolded.

When George attends Betsy's birthday party he is ready for a day of fun with friends. Steve and Betsy blindfold George and give him the first shot at breaking open the birthday piñata - but when George swings the bat without any sense of where he's aiming, he makes a grand mess instead. To help George improve his game, Steve blindfolds George and sets him off to try and find Charkie - and George navigates his way around the city by using only his hands, ears and sense of touch. His adventure leads him to some familiar places and ultimately back to the sweet piñata prize! George experiences the senses of sight, hearing, touch, taste, and smell as ways of exploring and navigating in the world and to understand that each sense provides a unique perspective through which we may interpret the environment. Curious George: Pinata Vision airs January 19 at 8am and January 21 at 2:30pm on WXXI-TV (DT21.1/cable 1011 and 11). Additional encore January 22 at 7pm on Create.
