Tommy Emmanuel 2006Tommy Emmanuel 2006 Tommy Emmanuel first came to town in 2006 and spent an hour with us at the WRUR studio on the University of Rochester campus. Same thing in 2007. We moved the interview to WXXI on State Street in 2008. Over those three years he debuted one new song, played a few Beatle songs and medleys, talked about working with Sir George Martin at the Sydney Olympics, explained an instrumental segment by segment as a journey and was always good humored, energetic, enthusiastic and a joy to have visit. Tommy EmmanuelTommy Emmanuel
