Need to Know Previews FRONTLINE's Investigation into the Buffalo Plane Crash

Correspondent Miles O'Brien talks about his upcoming FRONTLINE report where he investigates last February's Flight 3407 crash and the cost of Flying Cheap.

On Tuesday, February 9 at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV (DT21.1cable 1011/11) FRONTLINE investigates the crash of Continental 3407, the rise regional and low-cost carriers and if the aviation system is being stretched beyond its capacity to deliver service that is both cheap and safe in Flying Cheap.

Leading up to the Tuesday night broadcast, Need to Know will speak with FRONTLINE correspondent Miles O’Brien, who investigated the safety issues associated with outsourcing, on Friday, February 5 at 8:30 p.m. on WXXI-TV. And, WXXI Senior Correspondent Peter Iglinski will report from Buffalo on Tuesday, February 9 during All Things Considered on AM 1370 (4 p.m. - 6 p.m.). He'll share comments from the community after the National Transportation Safety Board hearing, which was held on February 2.
