Tune in to WXXI-CREATE (DT21.3/cable 433) on Friday, August 9 at 3 p.m. for a mini-marathon of Rick Steves Europe episodes. During the broadcast you’ll learn more about Steves' upcoming visit to Rochester and how you can get tickets to his lecture at Hochstein School of Music & Dance on September 26th. Or you can click here and reserve your seats!

The afternoon kicks off at 4 p.m. with London: Mod and Trad, where Steves visits the Millennium Bridge and the British Museum's Great Court, and the well-wrapped mummies and a rare Leonardo. After bantering with Beefeaters at the Tower of London, he'll do some riverside beach-combing, then strolling the trendy South Bank of the Thames taking viewers from the Tate Modern to the dizzying London Eye. After London, Steves visits Vienna, taking viewers through the palace of Maria Theresa and to see the Hapsburg crown jewels. Then he picnics on the Danube, nibbles strudel in an Old World café, blushes at slinky Art Nouveau, and waltzes to the three-four beat of Johann Strauss. Vienna is followed by Paris: Regal and Intimate, where Steves cruises the Seine River, scales the Eiffel Tower, visits Napoleon's tomb, and takes in the Louvre.

An encore broadcast of this mini-marathon will air Saturday, August 10 at 2p.m. and Sunday, August 11 at 1 p.m. on WXXI-TV.
