Brenda Tremblay named new Morning Drive Host/Producer

We at WXXI Classical 91.5 are thrilled to announce that Brenda Tremblay has been promoted to the full-time position of Morning Drive Host/Producer, replacing Simon Pontin who retired from the Super Scintillating Sunshine Show in May 2009. 
Brenda TremblayBrenda TremblayBrenda began her career at WXXI in 1991 as a casual classical announcer, and later became the full time AM Traffic Director.  Prior to her promotion, Brenda served as a part-time fill in classical host, producer of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra broadcast concerts and features reporter.  In her new position, Brenda will host the weekday classical music program, continue to produce and host the RPO concerts and other local productions, and work with the Center for Public Affairs to create arts and cultural coverage for all of our media services.
