Sharp Ears with Paul Shewan

Rochester’s top musicians guide you to the artists most worth your time in this series.  One of the busiest musicians is Paul Shewan, a Professor at Roberts Wesleyan College where he conducts the Wind Ensemble and the Orchestra. He serves as a guest conductor of the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra in “Around the Town” concerts, and he plays in the RPO trumpet section.  In this conversation with WXXI's Brenda Tremblay, he traces his evolution as a listener and names up-and-coming trumpet players he admires.
