The series also explores themes and concepts integral to the healthy social and emotional development of young viewers. She illustrates to young viewers that a positive outlook and an appreciation for the viewpoints of others can add fun, friendship and excitement to life.  Each episode closes with characters learning more about themselves and how to get along with others, despite their differences.
