Tuesday's mystery piece

If you grew up in Western New York, you’ve heard Aram Khachaturian’s “Sabre Dance” a gazillion times. Today’s mystery piece has long been the theme song for the Buffalo hockey team. The composer, a Russian-Armenian born in 1903, once visited Rochester. His first big hit was a flamboyant piano concerto.
Tomorrow, guess a work by a composer who recently spent a few days working with students at Canandaguia Academy.
