Mayoral Control Moves to Next Step in Senate

The New York State Senate will take up the debate over the proposed legislation for mayoral control of Rochester schools after the Assembly passed the measure.

Rochester Mayor and Lieutenant Governor candidate Robert Duffy joined the Rochester Kids First Coalition Friday to talk about the plan and the process for final approval of the legislation.
