Tune in for the contemporary music of Ossia, a student-run group from the Eastman School of Music.

Backstage Pass host Julia Figueras welcomes Ossia to the Henry Epstein studio on Friday, October 16 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1.  Taking its name from the score marking that indicates a musical alternative, Ossia provides alternatives for the performance of new music at the Eastman School of Music, throughout the Rochester area and beyond. The program will reair Sunday, October 18 at 2 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD91.5-1.

Backstage Pass is a live, hour-long radio series that is committed to highlighting performing artists – giving Classical 91.5/90.3/FM-HD 91.5-1 listeners the opportunity to hear local and visiting musicians performing live. The series is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
