Problem with June 11th Lyric Opera of Chicago

Astute opera fans may have notice that a portion of Un Ballo in Maschera was missing last Saturday 6/11.  We've just received this notification from the distributor.

The WFMT Radio Network would like to alert you to an error in last Saturday’s LOC program, Un Ballo in Maschera.

The error was the omission of Scene 1 in Act III.  The error was on our end and we regret that it happened.  If you have received feedback from listeners about the omission please let them know it was a mistake on our part.  In the more than three decades we've been offering Lyric Opera broadcasts this is the first time anything like this happened and, again, we're very sorry.  

Thanks to those WXXI-FM Classical 91.5 listeners who brought this to our attention and prompted me calling the distributor to find out what was going on with the broadcast.  Thanks for listening so intently and loving opera so much to make a difference.
