An open letter to Rick Steves:

Dear Mr. Steves,

Your 2011 guidebook to Italy is invaluable but missing a few superlatives. Really, you might sprinkle a few words such as “breathtaking,” “awe-inspiring” and/or “stunning,” especially in your section on Lake Orta and Orta San Giulio, a small town facing the lake.  

You are right when you say this place is full of peace and magic.
