Bobby Henrie & the Goners formed in 1985 when Bobby Henrie, along with Brian Williams and James Symonds decided to start a Rockabilly band, capitalizing on their respective years of musical experience and skill. The group plays authentic Rockabilly and roots Rock’n’Roll in the tradition of musicians that defined the genre in the 1950s; Carl Perkins, Roy Orbinson, Buddy Holly, Elvis Presley, Johnny Burnett. In their lean trio format, the Goners are respectful of the music that preceded and influenced early Rock’n’Roll and are equally comfortable with country, blues and swing
