Antiques Roadshow "Vintage Rochester"

(Rochester, New York) – Antiques Roadshow fans in Rochester won't want to miss this Vintage Rochester episode, airing Monday, July 8, 2013 at 8 p.m. and again on Monday, July 15 at 9 p.m. on WXXI-TV. Back in 1998, the series travelled to Rochester and appraised items including a painting by Frank Zappa, a van Munster violin and a Minton vase. One of these items increased more than five times in value and another has dropped by more than $1,000.

Antiques Roadshow, PBS’s most-watched primetime series, brings specialists from the country's leading auction houses and independent dealers from across the nation together to offer free appraisals of antiques and collectibles. The series, hosted by Mark L. Walberg, shares as owners recount tales of family heirlooms, yard sale bargains and long-neglected items salvaged from attics and basements, while experts reveal the fascinating truths about these finds. Vintage Roadshow episodes like Vinatage Rochester, shows from the ROADSHOW archive, feature updated appraisal information and historical facts.
