LA Opera On the Air
(Rochester, New York) -- The Los Angeles Opera has become the fourth largest opera company in the U.S. under the leadership of The Eli and Edythe Broad's General Director, Placido Domingo. The LA Opera On the Air, airing Saturdays, July 20 and 27, 2013 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD 91.5-1, features conductors such as James Conlon, Grant Gershon, and Placido Domingo.
Verdi's The Two Foscari, following the struggles of a father and son in war-torn Venice, airs Saturday, July 20 at 1 p.m. Stigmatized by Schreker airs the following Saturday, July 27 at 1 p.m. This opera features a nobleman with a hunchback from Genoa who builds his own enchanted isle.
