Backstage Pass with Lutenist Christopher Wilke
(Rochester, NY) – Host Julia Figueras welcomes lutenist Christopher Wilke to the Epstein Studio for Backstage Pass, Friday, September 20 at 1 p.m. on Classical 91.5/FM-HD 91.5-1. Wilke, a teacher at Nazareth College earned his doctorate in Early Music Performance from the Eastman School of Music under renowned lutenist Paul O’Dette. He performs in recitals across the U.S. as well as in Italy and Germany. He has performed on several public radio stations and appeared with Suzanne Bona, host of the popular early music program Sunday Baroque.
Backstage Pass is a live, hour-long radio series that is committed to highlighting performing artists – giving Classical 91.5/90.3/FM-HD 91.5-1 listeners the opportunity to hear local and visiting musicians performing live. The series is made possible in part by a grant from the Gouvernet Arts Fund at Rochester Area Community Foundation.
