Ring in the Holiday Season with "A Christmas Carol"
Ring in the Holiday Season with "A Christmas Carol"
Sat, 12/08/2012 - 12:00pm - 1:00pm
On Christmas Eve, Scrooge is visited by a series of ghosts who remind him who he was and what he might yet become. He learns the true meaning of the season and that it’s never too late to make a new start. The famous tale of redemption for the most despised man in London will awaken your heart and rekindle your spirit in the critically acclaimed new adaptation.
Join host Robert Hammond and his guests Jim Poulos (Bob Cratchit) and Melissa Rain Anderson (Mrs. Cratchit) for a behind the scenes “look” at Dickens’ classic tale on stage at Geva Theatre Center through December 23rd.
Mark Cuddy, Geva Theatre Center’s Artistic Director, adapted and directed this production of A Christmas Carol. Information available at www.gevatheatre.org.
Featuring the talented Matthew Duffy, the best rendition of "Last Christmas" ever recorded will be played. Be sure to tune in! Live stream at wxxi.org/listen.
Last week's program featuring John Waters and songs from the new movie "Scrooge & Marley" (starring Ronnie Pulse Kroell) is now available on demand at wxxi.org/stagenotes.
