Online Guidelines

Here are some basic guidelines for the different types of online placements currently available:

 

INTERACTIVE STATIC TILES: 

  • 180 pixels (wide) by 150 pixels (high) graphic. 

 

LEADER BOARD HORIZONTAL BANNER:

  • 728 pixels (wide) by 90 pixels (high) horizontal banner graphic. 

 

SKYSCRAPER VERTICAL BANNER: 

  • 160 pixels (wide) by 600 pixels (high) vertical banner graphic. 

 

PODCASTS:

  • Includes an audio header (one naming) and a post-roll 15-second credit. 

 

E-NEWSLETTERS: 

  • 180 pixels (wide) by 150 pixels (high) graphic. 

 

ONLINE RADIO BROADCASTING:

VISUAL Banner ad with hyperlink

  • 300 pixels (wide) by 250 pixels (high).  (no animated GIFs)

                                        AND/OR

AUDIO PREMIUM EXPERIENCE:

  • Audio header (one naming) plays before stream commences.

 

ADDITIONAL DETAILS:

  • Underwriting Department to approve sponsorship tag lines and logo or graphic placement.
  • Logo or Graphics to be web-ready GIF, JPG, or PNG at 72 DPI resolution, with clearly visible readable graphics and fonts.  Animated GIFs are allowed.  WXXI can assist with (non-animated) graphic creation for an additional one-time fee. This investment becomes more cost effective with continued underwriting with WXXI.
  • Content must meet underwriting guidelines.
  • Graphics to be delivered electronically to account executives with a click-through destination (URL) identified.
  • Placement of banners and tag lines will clearly indicate that the content is for sponsorship purposes, delineated as separate from page content.
