Berlioz's famous symphony "Symphonie fantastique," a much loved symphony by WXXI listeners, is featured on the 5th of November.

The first violin concerto of Max Bruch, a German Romantic Composer best known for his violin concertos, will be featured in the 10/22 broadcast.

The Cleveland Orchestra embarks on its 14th International Concert Tour in September, concluding with a performance at the famed Royal Concertgebouw in Amsterdam.  Tune in on September 10th for an encore broadcast from 1965 of the Cleveland Orchestra performing at the Concertgebouw under the direction of George Szell.  Two concerts from the Blossom Festival are also featured as well as two symphonies by Schumann.

This August the Cleveland Philharmonic Orchestra performs Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 5 and Mozart's Requiem.  Other featured composers include Schubert, J. Strauss, R. Strauss, Debussy, Stravinsky and Prokofiev.
