This month, the Cleveland Orchestra celebrates 50 years of radio broadcasts from Severance Hall. On Feb. 3rd, we present the first broadcast from Severance Hall from October 5th, 1965. The program includes George Szell conducting Wagner's Rienzi Overture and Tchaikovsky's Symphony No. 4.
