ViewPoints

Each week ViewPoints presents information, demonstration and discussion of products, services, and life experiences that help people with vision loss live independently and productively.  Hosts Nancy and Pete Torpey share their personal experiences from the everyday to the high tech.  As retired physicists, and self-proclaimed "geeks" Pete, who is blind carries the heavy tech load, and Nancy who is sighted provides the warmth and color commentary.  ViewPoints began as a program on WXXI Reachout Radio in January 2011 and is now carried on radio reading services throughout Canada, Maine, Texas, Nebraska, Florida and Michigan.  Through its podcasts ViewPoints has reached listeners all across the United States, Canada, China, Sweden, Egypt, Azerbeijan, Australia and New Zealand.
