Volunteer Recognition Reception ... are you attending?

If you haven't already registered to attend the Volunteer Recognition Event we are having here at WXXI on Sunday, April 15, please give us a call at (585) 258-0200. Here are the details again:

Sunday, April 15, at WXXI Studios, 280 State Street; 1pm reception just for volunteers prior to the film at 2 pm.

Thank you!

Thank you so much to all the volunteers that helped out last week during our Radio Pledge Drive. We made nearly $168,000! And thank you to the volunteers that worked at WBEE's Kids Fest and Strong Museum's Cat in the Hat event. You are all truly wonderful!

I would like to thank all the volunteers that took part in our Radio Membership Pledge Drive! Volunteers took over 2,100 pledges. What an amazing week! Thank you to everyone that helped out.

Volunteers Needed for October Radio Drive!

Volunteer Newsletter - Issue 1

We have created a Volunteer Newsletter to make sure our loyal volunteers have a easy way to check on upcoming events and the need for volunteers at those events. The newsletter will be published on a quarterly basis. It will be emailed to all volunteers as a PDF file and will be published in the volunteer blog section.

Volunteer for WXXI and Have a Festival!

Yes, we know that Winter is still blowing snow around our Rochester communities, but Spring and Summer are not far away. The warmer season brings us not only sun and fun; it brings us all of those great festivals the Rochester area is so well known for.

WXXI participates in many of these festivals and we need volunteers to help us out in our booth. Booth volunteers promote and explain the many ways WXXI supports our communities with music, art, education and health programs for people of all ages.

The festivals that WXXI will be participating in this year are:
